Lucid Leave-In Conditioning Hair Milk

Way too emotional a review for a hair product, but…

This review starts with a story, and I’ll try to keep it brief. When I was growing up, people used to mistake my mom and me for sisters, and they weren’t that far off. She was young when she had me, she was a single mom, and sometimes I did feel like we were sisters. One of the reasons for this was our hair. Hers was blonde, and mine is brown, but we both had the same thick, curly texture and length that made people envious. When she was only 50 years old, my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. During the last three months of her life, I moved back in with her and nursed her in her own home until she passed. This period was extremely taxing on me, and after three months of not sleeping, not hydrating properly, and eating like total ****, combined with the stress of losing my parent and playing unqualified hospice nurse, my overall health plummeted. One of the side effects of this was that my hair changed. I was still in my twenties, and it was falling out in clumps. What didn’t fall out was limp, flat, and lifeless, and matted. At her funeral, one of my mom’s friends said to me “I guess you didn’t inherit your mom’s beautiful hair.” People say the weirdest things at funerals, but that comment was really hurtful. My hair was the most physical remnant I had of my now dead mother, but it seemed like I had lost that too. I have done a lot over the past three years to recover my health, but my hair has remained dry, scaly, limp, and will form into mats if I leave it down for even an hour or two. Enter this leave-in conditioner, which is amazing! After just one use, some of the curl, bounce and life was restored to my hair. It feels smoother and softer than it has felt in years. I even wore it down all day yesterday and only had a few tangles to brush out before bed. Immediate results exceeded my expectations. I’m hoping for more long term improvement in the health of my hair, but I would even keep using it just for its results as a styling agent. Thank you for giving me back my curly hair. It seems silly, but my hair was one of those tangible gifts my mom gave to me when I was born, a piece of her body that she gave to me when she gave me my body, and I can’t tell you how hard it was to lose that when I lost her, and how much it means to me to feel like I have a little bit of that back.

Shipped super fast. I LOVE this product. It’s the only leave in hair anything that actually works on my fine hair. Obsessed! Fine hair| Only leave-in I will use

I LOVE this product. It’s the only leave-in product I will put in my hair. Most other products on the market don’t nourish my hair and rather sit on top and leave it oily the next day. This product immediately reduced my tangles and knots, is lightweight and makes my hair so soft! I’m about to purchase another bottle for my niece who has thick curly hair and is always matting. I used this product in her hair and it made brushing easy and her hair soooo happy, soft and curly. Thank you for this amazing product and the CLEAN and herbal ingredients! I mentioned Luna to my hair salon in Waterloo Clique organics. I wished more stores carried this product. It is unmatched!

Nicely moisturizing

So far I’ve enjoyed this conditioner and I appreciate the fact it is scent free which is so hard to find. I have very thin and dry hair so use this after my regular rinse out conditioner - my hair likes the extra moisture and I use it as a “styling “ product between washes I.e. when I get up and my hair is a mess I wet it down with this conditioner before putting my hair in a ponytail. Unlike other products I’ve tried, this one doesn’t leave my hair sticky, brittle or greasy . I’m definitely going to re- purchase
